Here are a few of my top tips to set a great foundation to your weeks supplies. ✅

➕I have a pretty good foundation set in place of staples that I buy each week but I still keep it varied enough.

♻️When shopping, I choose to buy my fruit and vegetables from a fruit and veg shop rather than the supermarket to avoid unnecessary plastic packaging.

➕I always aim to include a minimum of at least three different types of dark green leafy and cruciferous vegetables (and mix these up weekly) 🥬🥦

➕I always aim to include as many different colours as possible 🌈

➕I seek out at least one different item (either a fruit, vegetable, legume or whole grain) each week, to keep the variety in my diet 🌀

➕It’s incredibly easy to fall into regular behaviours and patterns and put on the ‘go’ mode to just get something done, especially when it comes to grocery shopping.
➕However, sometimes the first point of change can just be taking that extra second to stop and evaluate your actions.
➕You might just be in automatic mode that you don’t actually realise you’re not buying enough vegetables and fruit to meet the minimum daily servings in your week.
