The Effects of Stress On Your Body

Something I’m sure most of us experience, to varying degrees.

While small doses of stress can actually be beneficial for us - e.g. motivating us to get into action to complete an important task.

Long-term stress can have detrimental effects on our body and compromise our health.

Trying to cope with chronic stress can be an incredibly challenging task and, this chronic stress can interrupt the body’s normal functioning - impacting digestion, immunity, sleep, and the cardiovascular system for example.

Some people may experience predominantly digestive issues/symptoms while others can be more immune to headaches.

Over time, the continual strain on the body can lead to quite serious health problems such as heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes etc.
