Contrary to popular belief, maintaining a healthy diet does not need to be complex, strict or hard to adhere to.

Rather than going full restriction mode, or spending a ridiculous amount of money on the latest rapid weight loss diet promoted by another popular influencer, I offer one simple solution here...

Start small, where you currently are and progress from there; it sounds simple, a little too simple for some. But I assure you, small, incremental changes are going to lead you to far greater results (that you can actually sustain) as opposed to a generic fad diet that gets some short term results then takes you right back to your starting point).

So, choose a few staple foods you know you already enjoy (fruit, veggies, legumes, whole grains, nuts and seeds) and work off of those.

Mix it up weekly or fortnightly, find out what you like or don’t like and discover what works best for you.

That's it, that is genuinely all you need to do right now. Start here and start well. Start small, stay consistent and I assure you, you will be surprised with the results.

Keeping it simple AND enjoying it, will be two of the biggest factors in making sure you can sustain this for the long term.
